Kick things off by having a friendly chat about what you'd like to import and your preferences and budget.
Browse Vehicles together with an agent
We'll provide translations for Japanese auction sheets and help you uncover the vehicle(s) that are an absolute perfect fit for you.
Bid or buy
For auction vehicles, we bid on your behalf within your budget. If a security deposit is needed, we let you know before the auction and use any balance in your ZervTek wallet first. Prefer something ready to go? Buy any in-stock vehicle outright at its listed price, with no bidding or deposit needed.
We take care of everything else
We manage the entire process for you after a successful purchase, including transporting the vehicle to the port, handling customs clearance, and shipping it to the destination port.
Pickup your new vehicle
You will be contacted when the vehicle is about to reach the destination port. Please take the required documents to pick up your JDM import!
How to import a car from Japan
ZervTek is a Chiba-based exporter. We find the car at a Japanese auction or dealer, handle the bidding, export paperwork and shipping, and deliver it to your destination port.
1. Choose a car: auction or dealer stock
Browse Japanese car auction lots and dealer stock in one search. ZervTek has access to the major Japanese auto auctions, which are held Monday to Saturday and are normally open to registered dealers only. We bid on your behalf. If you want a car that is not listed, we can also source it from local dealerships.
2. Check the condition
Auction sheets are translated for you, and on request a third-party inspector can check the car before the auction and send photos and videos. Old, rare or high-value cars are the ones most often inspected.
3. Pay and ship by RoRo or container
After a successful bid, full payment is due within 3 days. We deliver the car to the port yard and book space. RoRo is charged per cubic metre; containers (20ft or 40ft) are charged per container. For Australia and New Zealand, heat treatment is arranged by the shipping agents before the car leaves Japan.
4. Receive your export documents
You get digital copies of the invoice, shipping instructions and export certificate before the vehicle ships, then the Bill of Lading and export certificate (plus certificates such as JAAI or Certificate of Origin where required) once it sails.

The Japanese auto auctions is comprised of several auction houses with only registered dealers. ZervTek has access to all the major auctions. This lets you, an individual, access thousands of cars being auctioned off everyday; have an extensive look at vehicles with translations and inspections, place bids, win and import vehicles at JDM market prices. Our pricing is agreed upon beforehand (depending on the estimated end price of the vehicle), transparent and fair for the service we provide.
